Thunderbirds Each of the Thunderbird machines plays a unique role in the rescue operations. Gordon Tracy in Thunderbird Four is in charge of undersea rescue in a vehicle that can negotiate both land and sea with the aid of hover jets and atomic generators.
Thunderbird Three is their Space rocket and is piloted by Alan (and frequently co-piloted by Scott). It is fuelled by a combination of atomic electricity generators, particle accelerators and chemical rockets.

Thunderbird Two is the heavy duty freighter that can reach 5,000 miles an hour and is piloted by Virgil. Often at the heart of the fray providing all the materials needed for rescue, it is still relatively slow in comparison to the amazing Thunderbird One.

Fuelled by atomic power, rocket propellant and turbo jet fuel, Scott can take Thunderbird One to speeds of over 15,000 mph to reach you at the edge of the abyss in the very nick of time.
