Buffy Stuff
The Wisdom of War - review and vote

The Wisdom of War: Click for larger image Veteran Buffy author Chris Golden isn't usually one to shy away from apocalyptic scenarios, but The Wisdom of War finds him in a slightly more reflective mood than usual.

Thrill seekers will find plenty of tentacled-beast action and adventure, but Golden's focus this time is more on the characters, particularly Faith.

Always a fascinating subject for authors to explore, the newly-released slayer is seen relishing her chance at redemption. With continuity between the books and the TV series being a little shaky at the best of times, perhaps it's time to let her out of jail permanently Buffy Stuff . Could this be Pocket Books' plan?

I suspect we haven't seen the last of new mystery men the Order of Sages either. A worthy addition to the Buffy mythos, they are an interesting thorn in the side of the Council of Watchers and will undoubtedly return in Golden's future work.

An exciting addition to the range.
