You gotta have Faith

With all the comic and TV series spin-offs around or proposed at the moment, is there anything you think has potential that hasnt been suggested yet?

Well, with television, you have to consider how realistic your desires are. People dont understand why Faith isnt on every week. Eliza Dushku has a thriving film career - shes not going to be on every week, if at all.

From my perspective with the books, Tom Sniegoski and I have pitched a Faith novel and comic book. Its a cool idea which explores both Faiths past and her current mental status.

Ive got an Oz novel coming up. Ive done a comic book mini series and the novel is going to be based on that, but much larger in scale and with characters and situations that arent in the comic.

I would love to tell more Giles stories We did a Giles one-shot comic, and we have a pitch in for another one Its young Giles, its sort of Indiana Giles if you will - after hes come back to the Council but before hes gone on to the British Museum.

Ive been fortunate in that Ive been able to focus on various characters within the mythology. Id love to do more Giles, love to do more Willow and Tara, but of all the ones that Ive not been able to, Faith is the one I really would like to do. I just love the character.
