Aeryn struggles with her ghosts on a planet of spirits while Talyn's crew try to warn her of approaching danger.

In mourning for Crichton, Aeryn is on a planet where it�s claimed you can speak to the dead � and it�s claimed by believable mystics as well as even more believable con artists. There could even be something in it as Aeryn�s father, or at least a horribly disfigured creature claiming to be him, comes in search of her. Unfortunately, so does her mother Xhalax Sun.

Farscape is at its finest when it uses science fiction as the problem, not as the get-out solution to a plot, and here it let SF heighten a tale about preying on people�s misery.

For all the technology they used, the aliens convincing Aeryn of her father and her ability to speak to Crichton were as ghoulish and evil as any human con man or woman doing the same here on Earth.

And the atmosphere of the planet, in both the sense of its feel and its murky look, was at least as evocative as Blade Runner. You could not see how Aeryn could escape the fate being arranged for her by these people and her mother, yet when she did, it worked.

It�s a small shame that her mother came back: much as it�s good that Crais' actions in letting her go set him back on his evil selfish ways, things were better when Xhalax had not even the hint of redemption she got here.
