Taking the Stone
Teleplay by Justin Monjoy
Directed by Rowan Woods

DID YOU NOTICE?
If Chiana's life disc doesn't power itself from her body in some way, it has extremely good batteries. We don't know how long she's had it inside her, but its been merrily transmitting and receiving with her brother's one somewhere across the galaxy. Given that it's beeping away, or whatever it does, and there are rather a lot of people chasing after the gang, you'd think that such a powerful signal would be detected.

When does Chiana's disc stop working? We actually see it power down, but that's the moment it is out of her body. Is that the moment when her brother died? And if it is, what made her realise it was going to happen? If it isn't, how did the unit keep going until she cut it out of herself?

There's a slight inconsistency in how Crichton and Aeryn talk about getting the tissue sample up to Zhaan: he specifically tells her to go back to the transport but we can assume she doesn't listen and instead uses some equipment in her Prowler. For she does get the sample back to Zhaan but she doesn't notice or at least doesn't think it worth commenting about that Rygel has taken the transport.

If Crichton is so anxious to learn how Moya's navigation system works, why does he rip out half the wiring when he could just ask Pilot?
