Dream a Little Dream
Teleplay by Steven Rae
Directed by Ian Watson

DID YOU NOTICE?

The name of this law-obsessed planet, Litigara, is an obvious joke. Perhaps Zhaan landed in the Libel Belt.

Just where were Crichton and Zhaan going in the transport at the start and end of the episode? These scenes were clearly the only new ones filmed to make this episode work in mid-season, they were a framing device, but no reason was given to set it up.

It is common for Farscape episodes to be completely redubbed (looped) and this time you can tell because the scenes in the courtroom have the acoustic of a much smaller set.

That court room set was clearly erected in a warehouse. Watch for the establishing shot of the skylights high above the set.

The Light of Truth, as well as a convenience, was also unnecessary. If Pilot and Moya heard everything Ja Rhumann threatened Chiana with, why not just record it and play it back to the court?

Though Chiana set light to the outside of the chair leg, the glow came from the inside: the end of the wood was replaced with a light in a plastic assembly.

There is an abrupt cut after Chiana's first day as counsel and also at the end from Zhaan's court case. Given that this was originally a complete episode without the frame, we must have lost an equivalent amount of screen time and these two points look like the most obvious excisions.
