Characters from Buffy proved the biggest hit in SFX Magazine's poll of top sci fi and fantasy figures.

Four of the show's leading figures made the top ten. Surprisingly, however, it was Spike rather than Buffy herself who led the pack. The blonde big bad was ranked second in the poll, followed by Buffy in third.

Willow featured at a respectable number seven, with Angel coming in at number nine.

Overall first place went to ever-popular Time Lord the Doctor from Doctor Who, with other top ten places taken by characters from Star Wars and Farscape.
