Is this the end of the line for Buffy Executive Producer Marti Noxon?
Marti has admitted that even if the show, Joss Whedon and Sarah Michelle Gellar all return for an eighth year, there's no guarantee that she will stay on.
"I honestly, honestly don't know. I really don't," she told the Fangoria web site. "My concerns are, 'do I still have something to give?' At what point do you say, 'These are the best people I've ever known, it's the best job I've ever had, but is it creatively the best choice?'"
Marti goes on to say that her main concern is what is best for the show, stating: "I certainly do not want to be the person who rides Buffy the Vampire Slayer down. I think we'd do good work, no matter what."
Would Noxon consider a move over to the spin-off series Angel if Buffy is laid to rest for good this year? "Probably not. I would say no."
