Comics news

After over a year's delay, Joss Whedon is to complete Fray - his tale of a future slayer.

The project was put on hold several months ago after publication of six of the planned eight issues. This was due to problems with late deliveries of Joss's script and Karl Moline's artwork.

Issue 7 will now be released on 23rd April, 2003, with issue 8 following on 18th June, 2003. All eight issues will be collected into a graphic novel later in the year.

Dark Horse have also announced that they have no plans to wind up the Buffy comic simply because the TV show is ending.

"I can tell you that if you still buy the comics we will still make new ones," said editor Scott Allie.
