Nicholas Brendon has become the first of the Buffy cast to find a new job following the end of the series.
According to Reuters, Nick will join the cast of Fox's comedy pilot The Pool at Maddy Breakers.
The show centers around three 28-year-old women (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Jill Ritchie and Reagan Pasternak) who must come to the realisation that they may have peaked in high school.
Nick plays the ex-boyfriend and current friend for one of the women, with Eric Nenninger from Malcolm in the Middle playing another.
Meanwhile, Seth Green will reunite with Sarah Michelle Gellar to film Scooby Doo 2 later this month. Green plays Patrick, the curator of the Coolsonian Museum.
Finally, bad news for Tony Head. The Mail on Sunday announced yesterday that the BBC would not be commissioning a third season of Manchild due to high production costs and falling ratings.
