David Boreanaz has signed on to play the bad guy in the fourth instalment of The Crow film franchise.

Surprised that there have been so many films already? So was Boreanaz. "I didn't even know there was a third [Crow movie]," he told TV Guide.

David will play a satanic biker in the sequel titled Wicked Prayer, which starts filming in June. Dennis Hopper and Terminator 2's Edward Furlong also star.

David's last film, I'm With Lucy, went straight to video, but the actor had more success his 2001 slasher flick Valentine.

He's still waiting to hear for sure that Angel will be renewed for a fifth season. The WB network is not expected to make an official announcement on this until 14th May.
