Buffy buddies no more?

Buffy buddies no more?

They may be best buddies on TV, but Alyson Hannigan is reportedly fuming that Sarah Michelle Gellar didn't tell her she was quitting the show.

Sarah announced in February that the show would be drawing to a close at the end of its seventh season so she could concentrate on her film career and marriage to Freddie Prinze Jr.

But according to a story on the IMDB web site, Hannigan was angry that she and other Buffy cast members only found out via the press.

"It wasn't that big of a surprise, but finding out from a magazine article - that sucked," said Alyson. "I'm really upset that that's the way the cast and crew found out they would be unemployed."

The actress has yet to receive an apology from Gellar, adding, "She hasn't said anything."
