The production Eliza Dushku's new series, Tru Calling, is undergoing a number of problems.
Several sources, including Dark Horizons.com are reporting that Tru Calling will be pushed back by Fox to midseason or the spring. This will enable a third round of recasting and rewriting, and the pilot and first few episodes will then be reshot.
In the series Eliza Dushku (Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer) plays Tru Davies, a morgue worker who receives messages from the dead. To prevent their deaths, Tru travels back in time.
Fox is now planning to bring forward the Sixth Sense-like drama Still Life to screen in the slot allocated Tru Calling. Filming will begin on 23rd September, two weeks earlier than planned to enable the series to premiere on 30th October.
Buffy's Marti Noxon serves as Executive Producer on Still Life.
