Buffy books round-up

Buffy books round-up

Wicked Willow writings and further Tales of the Slayers to come from the Buffy books range.

Following the success of the first two Tales of the Slayers anthologies, Pocket Books will be publishing a third in the series this November. The anthology will consist of four novelette-length stories about Slayers fighting the vampire menace across the world and throughout history.

Christopher Golden and James Moore are both contributing stories, as is Yvonne Navarro, whose Tale is set among the ancient Anasazi American Indians in the thirteenth century.

Yvonne's obviously been a busy girl lately - a whole trilogy penned by her will be coming out in 2004. The Wicked Willow trilogy takes a look at what would have happened if Dark Willow hadn't been stopped by Buffy. To find out, Yvonne's set her stories in "an alternative universe pathway born of Willow's pain at Tara's death, and our favourite Wiccan's resulting fury."

The three books are subtitled The Darkening, Shattered Twilight and Broken Sunrise, and are scheduled for publication in May, July and September of 2004. That's a lot of bad magic mojo on the horizon.
