I Capture the Castle, starring Marc Blucas, is coming to DVD and VHS in the UK in January 2004.

The charming period drama will be released in both formats on 26th January by Momentum Pictures. Blucas (aka Buffy's former beau Riley Finn) plays one of two American brothers who inherit a crumbling English castle in the 1930's.

The duo then become involved with two English sisters who live in the run-down property. I Capture the Castle is based on the book by Dodie Smith, author of 101 Dalmations.

Also starring in the film is Bill Nighy as the English sister's father. He's been widely tipped in recent weeks as a candidate to star in BBC One's forthcoming Doctor Who series.

I Capture the Castle, backed by BBC Films, had a healthy run at the UK box-office in May and June 2003. It then received lots of glowing reviews when released in the USA in July.

January 2004 should also see the release to US cinemas of First Daughter. Blucas is the leading man in this movie, as a young Secret Service agent secretly assigned to protect the American President's daughter - played by one-time Buffy candidate Katie Holmes - when she insists on going to college without interfering bodyguards.
