Two returning cast and one guest newcomer have been confirmed for upcoming season five episodes of Angel.

Coming up in November's episodes on the WB, there'll be more of Drusilla's backstory with Spike, and a first appearance for the estranged father of Alexis Denisof's Wesley.

Episode seven, Lineage, scheduled for November 12th, features Roy Dotrice as Roger Wyndam-Pryce. During Dotrice's long screen career, he's guest starred on such cult series as Space: 1999, Earth 2, Babylon 5, Hercules and Sliders.

The following week, Juliet Landau's Drusilla returns in eighth episode Destiny, though these are thought to be only flashbacks to her Victorian exploits with Angel and Spike, rather than an appearance in LA.

Meanwhile, according to E!Online's regular gossip Kristen, Charisma Carpenter will be involved in shooting just one episode for later in the season. Odds are it'll be Angel's 100th episode, which would be the twelfth of the current US season.

The November episodes are being promoted as part of the crucial 'sweeps' period for American networks - a time when many attention-grabbing episodes are lobbed in the viewers' direction.
