Buffy News    17 November 2003
SPOILER - Reformed geek
SPOILER - Reformed geek

Danny Strong is enjoying playing a cool character on the WB's Gilmore Girls. Warning, major Angel and Buffy spoilers ahead.

In an interview for E!Online's Watch with Kristin column, Danny Strong spoke about playing Doyle, editor of the Yale newspaper, and Rory's boss on the Gilmore Girls.

"Isn't that great?" Danny said. "Isn't that exciting? Not one ounce of geek. No Star Wars references. Actually, I don't really care about playing geeks - it seems to come natural for me - but it's fun to play a cool character."

Danny has so far shot two episodes, but he has high hopes that his character will return:

"I love it because I get to lay down the line. I was Warren's bitch for so long, and now Rory is my bitch."

Danny also revealed that his fellow geek on Buffy, Tom Lenk (Andrew), will making an appearance in the current series of Angel, but there are no plans for him to guest, but that "you never know. I did three more episodes after I died, and I got a raise to boot," he said.
