Buffy News    08 December 2003
Mercedes in FHM
Mercedes in FHM

Mercedes McNab is in US lads' mag.

The January issue, out now, features an interview with Mercedes and, as you'd expect, some tastefully done glamour shots.

Fear not if you can't get hold of a copy, for the website currently features extracts from the interview, plus some of those pictures.

In the interview Mercedes explains why she decided to do he shoot:

"All the pictures I see of myself have me with the vampire face," she says. Those pictures haunt me. To do it, they stick straws in my nose and pour this goop over my head for a mold of my face. Im not claustrophobic, but as soon as they cover my mouth, I start freaking out."

Mercedes also reveals that fans often overreact when the see her:

"This one Buffy fan in a wheelchair started crying hysterically when she saw me. She tried to stand up and I felt like I was healing someone on one of those 'praise the Lord' shows. The thing Angel fans ask most about is what it's like to kiss James Marsterss character Spike."

Mercedes also says that she is sometimes as dizzy as her on-screen character:

"Sometimes I ask really stupid questions and say things before I think. I saw on one Web site that Harmony was voted the second most annoying character on both of the shows. Interest gets the better of you on the Internet. You want to see what people are saying and if any nude pictures are floating around. There shouldnt be any though."
