Details about Alyson Hannigan's new sitcom.

NBC have released more details about the new vehicle for Alyson Hannigan, a sitcom that would capitalise on her comedic skills, as demonstrated in the American Pie films.

The as yet untitled project with feature a brother and sister who haven't spoken to each other in over 18 months.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Eric Christian Olsen will co-star. Olsen was recently seen in the sequel to Dumb and Dumber, the imaginatively titled Dumb and Dumberer.

No start date for filming has been set. Alyson is currently busy preparing for her West End debut in When Harry Met Sally.

The production will be previewed from 10th February at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and will open on the 20th for a run of sixteen weeks.
