An updated edition of Reading the Vampire Slayer is out.
First published in 2001, this is definitely the thinking person's guide to Buffy. Articles in the book include examinations of sexuality, family, feminism and the themes and structures of Buffy as well as many other deeply clever subjects.
This edition, once again edited by well-known reviewer Roz Kaveney has been revised and updated to cover the whole of Buffy, and Angel up to the end of season four. That means extra treats like a look at Buffy's relationship with Spike.
