Michelle Trachtenburg leaves Dawn behind.

Alyson Hannigan made a surprising break from Buffy to appear in the feelthy American Pie, and the role worked for her – she's now an established star with a film franchise and her name in lights in London's West End – whereas the rest of the Buffy cast have had a surprisingly quiet year.

It's hardly surprising, then, that Trachtenburg leapt at the chance to star in the similarly themed Eurotrip – a tale of sexual deviancy, gender confusion, and cheap laughs at quaint foreigners.

The film, which opens in the US in late February, has received mixed reviews (as these films generally tend to do). It's apparently funny, but hardly innovative. Although Michelle's apparently very good in her part.

In our view, what's most disturbing about the film is seeing our little Dawn all sexed up in a very revealing bikini. It's just... well... wrong.
