Angel star speaks about stepping behind the camera.

In the latest issue of Angel magazine, David Boreanaz discusses his directorial debut on the show with the episode Soul Purpose.

He said: "It's something I probably would do again given the opportunity, I enjoyed it. I enjoyed working with everybody around me. Everybody was really great."

Supervising producer Ben Edlund was also very complimentary about his star's first bash at stepping behind the camera.

"He's got a very strong sense of where to put the camera and how to move people," he said. "I assume that's been cultivated over the years, being moved around and seeing where the camera goes."

"He's very enthusiastic and dedicated to making a good show, so I've been pleased."

Issue nine of Angel magazine is out now and also includes an interview with Drusilla actress Juliet Landau.
