Andrew chats
Andrew chats

Angel magazine interview Tom Lenk about Damage and more.

Tom Lenk, the actor behind supernerd Andrew, has been chatting in the latest issue of Angel magazine about his debut on the LA vampire show, in the epsiode Damage.

Lenk reveals that when he heard the news he'd be on Angel he, "did a little dance that... [was] a little embarrasing."

He also talked about playing a Brit-obsessed Andrew in the episode. "He has no accent but he thinks he is British anyway. I just wanted him to be like, 'I'm British now. I'm cool.'"

And he answers the question we all wanted to ask. No, it's not a wig.

"My hair is different now. I let it grow out and it might possibly look like a wig, but just know that it's real and I'm not trying to look like a Hobbit."

"I also tried to incorporate glasses but they didn't fit in, but maybe if I come back again, I can work them in."

As well as the rest of the interview with Tom Lenk, the magazine also includes a chat with the whole Angel cast, a guided tour of Fred's lab, and a look at the season five episode Damage.

Angel magazine issue 10 is out now.
