Emma Caulfield talks about the end of Anya.
The latest issue of Buffy Magazine includes an interview with Emma Caulfield, who talks her last days playing Anya on the Buffy set.
"As much as I was ready to move on, it was really sad. My last day of work on the series was the scene in which my character died. My actual death scene was my last shot. I didn't expect it to be so traumatising.
"All that day I was all, 'OK, great, we're done! We're graduating!' But as the day progressed, I kept looking at Joss and I told him, 'I am feeling very unsettled.' Unsettled then turned into 'Oh my God, I don't know if I can do this!' There was a lot of crying and hugging at the end of it."
Buffy Magazine issue 60 is out on the 29th April. The issue also includes an interview with Halfrek actress Kali Roche, Xander before and after, a profile of Willow and a chance to win an authentic Buffy prop.
