Kane and Angel
Kane and Angel

Christian Kane talks the end of Angel.

In an interview with about.com Christian Kane, aka Lindsey, reveals that he had no inkling Angel would be cancelled.

"We had no idea. Me and Boreanaz and James Marsters were sitting on the set and Joss and Kelly Manners came in and said, 'That's it. They said they're not picking us up for another season.'"

"It does suck, to be honest with you. But you know what the best thing about this is? The only thing I can say is that we're going out on top. I mean, we're getting some of the best numbers that show's ever had."

Kane also talks about the possibility of an Angel feature film.

"Oh, they're talking about that. I'm not sure that's [a good thing]."

Possibly scared of talking himself out of a job, he adds, "If David said that he would do it and Joss asked me to do it, then I would definitely do it hands-down, no matter where I was at in my life. But I don't see it."

Kane does have a film coming out, however:

"Yeah, I just finished up Taxi with Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon. Tim Story directed that - he did the first Barbershop. It's a very funny movie."
