The Hollywood Reporter says that Amy will star in an independent drama written and directed by Murray Robinson.
In The Novice, Amy will play a humanitarian flower child who attracts the attention of a Jesuit seminarian. It's not all plain sailing, however (that would make for a very dull film), since the relationship threatens his career.
Filming has just begun in Mobile, Alabama. No release dates have been announced.
