Adam Busch and Eric Kufs' London gig reviewed.

Fresh from a stint supporting They Might be Giants in America, New York folk band Common Rotation played to a full house at London venue The Troubador last night.

The band, fronted by Adam Busch - best known to us as Buffy supernerd Warren - delivered their usual amusing mix of protest songs and quirky post-modern comments on performance itself to an enthusiastic crowd.

Whilst mostly sharing vocal duties with guitarist Kufs, Busch also dabbled with harmonica and toy accordian to great effect. The latter wasn't quite the exotic instrument he'd been led to believe when he bought it in Tijuana, but it sounded pretty good, nonetheless.

Talented multi-instrumentalist Jordan Katz provided some impressive trumpet, bass and additional guitar throughout the show, and proved at the end he had a fine voice, too.

Highlights of the acoustic set included Oklahoma and tracks from the band's forthcoming EP The Clear Channel.
