Utopia
Utopia

Buffy writer reveals details of new project.

Posting on her website, Jane Espenson has spilled the beans on the script she is writing for Fox.

"Utopia is an hour drama, with elements of the teen-soap variety, but also with a hint of delicious menace," she says. "It's set in a small Midwestern town where Things Aren't Right."

The Aint-it-cool News website has further information. Central to the plot will be a 16-year-old boy called Jamie who lives in a town called Utopia.

It is hoped if successful a pilot will spawn a series in the autumn of 2005.
