Trek April Fools

A number of Star Trek websites printed fake news stories for the first day of the month.

StarTrek.com was the site with the best April Fools gag, reporting that Enterprise's dog, Pathos, was demanding the star treatment and holding up filming in the process.

Apparently, Porthos' demands include a lower buffet table at lunch and pro Quadraped-American themed scripts.

"His ego's totally out of control," an Enterprise insider told the site. "He questions every move made by the producers, and often holds up shooting for hours on end with his script notes."

Not to be outdone, Jamahl Epsicockhan over at Star Trek: Hypertext reported that Enterprise to be revived as a reality TV series. "This is exactly the shot in the arm that the Star Trek franchise needs right now," said executive producer Brannon Braga. "This isn't your father's Star Trek."

TrekWeb went for a story with the revelation that a musical episode of Enterprise is planned for Season Three. Apparently the episode will feature the crew discovering a race that can only communicate by song.

Finally, Chris Howell at the Great Link published a whole slew of Season Three spoilers, our own personal favourite being Maxim Girl in which T'Pol can't stop taking off her uniform.
