The fifth Trek film is boldly out on DVD.
The Trek screen outing which saw James T Kirk face up to god is now out in the UK in the Star Trek Special Edition series.
The only film to have been directed by Original Series star William Shatner, it sees the Enterprise forced into an uneasy alliance with Klingons on a planet far, far away.
The Special Edition release comes with over five hours of extras, including:
- Documentaries including behind-the-scenes feature with Leonard Nimoy, Michael Okuda and Ralph Winter
- Deleted scenes
- Interviews including William Shatner's personal "making of" account
- Gag reel hidden feature - executive producer Ralph Winter, producer Harve Bennett and screenwriter David Loughery have a little fun interacting with one of the scenes from the film.
