Fans of Smallville's Tom Welling may want to check out the new film Cheaper by the Dozen.

Released tomorrow, Cheaper by the Dozen stars Steve Martin as Tom Baker (no, not based on the TV's Doctor Who). Mr Baker is a father of twelve children, who decides to uproot his family when he is offered the dream job of a football coach.

He finds himself struggling when his wife goes away on a book tour, but luckily his eldest son, Charlie (Tom Welling) is on hand to lend his father support.

We're not sure it's going to be any good, but hey, it's got Tom in it!

The good news is that even though it's billed as a family comedy the trailer reveals that Tom does get his top off, as he does in Smallville every episode (last week setting a new personal best of four seconds) - hurrah!
