Return of Kirk?

Shatner could appear on Enterprise, reports Star Trek magazine.

William Shatner has revealed he's come up with a concept to bring Captain Kirk to Star Trek: Enterprise, reports the latest issue of Star Trek Magazine.

The corseted captain apparently told Canada's eTalk Daily, "I've written a scenario where I could conceivably come back for a show or two."

For the time being he's keeping the idea to himself, until the show gets a fourth season commission from UPN.

Fans are already clamouring for Kirk's return, and have even put together a CGI animation featuring their favourite starship captain alongside Jonathan Archer. The Bring Back Kirk website explains that they "merely want to see the character have a happy ending in official Trek canon... We want him back one last time so he can have a classy ending where he rides off into the sunset."

Also featured in issue 115 of the magazine are new interviews with Trek medical men Robert Picardo (Voyager), Alexander Siddiq (Deep Space Nine), and John Billingsley (Enterprise), plus a guide to the inner workings of the Holodeck.
