House of Cards DVD

Ian Richardson's FU comes out in July.

Some of Ian Richardson's finest hours are coming out on DVD in July as BBC Worldwide are releasing the House of Cards trilogy.

Containing House of Cards, To Play The King and The Final Cut, the multi-award winning series tells of a charismatic, sexy and murderous politician who lets nothing get in the way of his rise to the top.

Almost compulsory viewing in the 90s, the shows were adapted by Andrew Davies from Michael Dobbs's political thrillers, and were full of many classic moments. Such as Susannah "Dadddeeeeeeee!" Harker falling off the Houses of Parliament, or Urquhart's chillingly charming, "You might say that, but I couldn't possibly comment."

The box set includes commentaries by Davies, Richardson and producer Ken Riddington.

By sheer luck, we've interviewed many of the main players already. Ian Richardson's even wearing a cape. The links are below.
