D'Argo on Farscape

Anthony Simcoe talks about the Farscape mini-series.

In the latest issue of Dreamwatch, Anthony Simcoe talks about playing the Luxan warrior Ka D'Argo in Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.

Simcoe was delighted to be a part of the mini-series, "It was just good to see those characters again. And being D'Argo again was just a thrill and a joy."

The Australian actor is really pleased with how the mini-series plays out. "You really get a true essence of what the characters' aspirations are," he said.

"Less latex would be great," he added, "but D'Argo is me. One never gets tired of doing good work. As long as I consider Farscape to be good work, then I'll be on it forever – if they want me back. It's been the most incredible project of my life."

Meanwhile, the UGO website has put an interview feature about Peacekeeper Wars online. Shot at the San Diego Comicon, it features Farscape star Ben Browder and creator Rockne O'Bannon discussing the mini-series.

Dreamwatch is out now, and you can view the UGO feature by clicking the link below.

Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars will be shown on the US Sci-Fi Channel from October 17th. No decision has yet been made about showings on the BBC. Don't email us asking about it - we promise we'll let you know when there's any news.
