Star Wars marathon
British fans to be the first to see all six films.
The UCI Empire cinema in Leicester Square is to play host to a Star Wars marathon on 16 May, where all six films will be shown, The event, starting at 7am, will culminate in a screening of the final movie, Revenge of the Sith at midnight.
This will be the first time the films will be screened back to back anywhere in the world. The fan screening will follow on from the official premiere at the Odeon next door, which will be attended by George Lucas and Hayden Christensen.
Leicester Square will be transformed for the day, with Stormtroopers patrolling the area and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performing music from the films.
