Arcadia axed
CBS has cancelled Joan of Arcadia.
The Associated Press has announced that CBS has cancelled the 'seeing god everywhere' drama after disappointing second season ratings.
It will be replaced by a totally different show - Ghost Whisperer, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, about a young wife who talks to dead people. Shades of both Joan and Dead Like Me we think.
This will be paired with the previously announce Threshold, about a team sent to approach aliens who have landed in the Atlantic Ocean.
