Love is in the air as the prom approaches. Who will end up with who?

Every now and then Roswell really surprises you. This is an episode with no big alien adventures, no schemes, nothing - just a really sweet, occasionally heartbreaking story of how all the characters relate to each other. It's very well done, and surprisingly moving.
We learn that Michael, really, actually, quite cares for Maria, and has even been taking dancing lessons to impress her. We see Max and Liz reach a level of maturity in their relationship with each other that is really quite painful. And, despite us all secretly wanting it, we realise that Kyle and Tess are never going to leap into bed with each other. But we're not so sure about Alex and Isabel...
There's even some nicely developed interest between Liz and wild child Sean. As Liz is so good and wholesome, it's interesting to see her experiment with tiny, weeny acts of rebellion - notice how, at one point, she can bring herself to break into a bowling alley, but not to walk onto the bowling lane itself.
The big question is - where is all this heading? Will Max really be happy with Tess, or is he just trying to talk himself into it?
This week's love:
Michael: Juanita? She's just his dancing instructor.
Max: Could it be Tess, after all this time?
Maria: Michael. Michael. Michael.
Kyle: Tess... as a sister!
Tess: Pina Colada
Alex: Isabel. Awwwww.
Isabel: Alex. Maybe, just maybe.
Liz: Bad boy Sean. Oh dear.
Sherrif Valenti: Maria's mum. Oh dear.
