Something of note
The Kensington Ghost is George II - his ghostly image is said to be seen looking at the weather vane of Kensington Palace, waiting for a message from Hanover.
He's also been seen looking out of a palace window.
The music is Zadok the Priest, commissioned by the king, and composed by Handel, as one of the king's Coronation pieces.
The words for this passage are:
Zadok the Priest and Nathan the prophet anointed Solomon King.
Other Hauntings
Kensington Palace has no fewer then three ghosts in residence. Apart from King George II, a man wearing white breeches has been seen walking the courtyards. An aunt of Queen Victoria has been seen sitting at her old spinning wheel.
