Vampire Stories Handheld ebooks
Downloadable versions of our new fiction.
Take a bloodsucker home on the train with you! Yes, as if web and audio versions weren't enough, we're offering our original vampire fiction for you to download onto your PDA, PalmPilot, Pocket PC or SmartPhone, so you can give yourself a scare wherever you are.
  • vampires.pdb - for PalmPilots using PalmReader.
  • vampires.lit - for Windows Personal Digital Assistants using Microsoft Reader.
  • vampires.prc - for use with the MobiPocket ebook reader plug-in, suitable for most PDAs, PalmPilots and Symbian SmartPhones.

All six new stories in the Cult Vampire Magazine are provided here in one downloadable ebook. To download a copy for yourself, follow the instructions below.

  1. Dock your handheld device to a PC.

  2. Select the format appropriate for your handheld device from the list below. We've tried to provide the ebook in a range of formats that will suit everyone, but if the format you need is missing, then let us know using the form at the bottom of the page. Palm users, don't worry - we'll be adding on PalmReader format very soon.

    • vampires.pdb - for PalmPilots using PalmReader.
    • vampires.lit - for Windows Personal Digital Assistants using Microsoft Reader.
    • vampires.prc - for use with the MobiPocket ebook reader plug-in, suitable for most PDAs, PalmPilots and Symbian SmartPhones.

  3. Right-click the link to download the file and save it wherever you like on your hard drive using "Save Target As".

  4. Drag and drop the ebook file onto your handheld device.

  5. Open up your ebook reader on your handheld device.

  6. Your ebook reader may automatically detect the Vampires ebook, or you may need to browse to the folder where you placed the ebook file.

  7. The ebook should then open, and you can choose a particular story to read from the Table of Contents.

  8. Enjoy!
If you haven't already got the correct software on your PalmPilot, PDA or SmartPhone, you will have to install it. You can download free versions from the sites listed below.
