Your Thoughts

Only those who suffer deeply, can understand and share the suffering of others.

The greatness of Diana was in her overcoming her own almost unbearable problems to devote herself unconditionally to others.

William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, was asked to give a one-word sermon. He said: "Others".

Our Queen of Hearts lived that sermon better than anyone else in public life. We thank God for her example.

Diana, Princess Lost... As I sit here in my office in San Antonio, Texas, my thoughts are of Diana. Someone that I have never met but yet not a stranger. I recall her passionate words on issues that I also cared about: AIDS, children's rights, homelessness.

I'll remember her soulful blue eyes, her warm smile, her tender voice. She had what we say in Spanish "Corazon"-heart. She was someone who used her fame to make a difference in this world, to make it a better place.

I admired her sense of honour and sense of humour. She had a combination of strength, humility, style, and vunerablity that made her special and honest. I'll miss Diana as the world does. I'll mourn because we lost a true human being. Good Bye Diana, and thanks.

To Lady Di...
to a child who's parents were apart...
to a girl who held children close to her heart...
to a lady, her engagement was merely a start...
to a wife of royalty that everyone knew...
to a mother of toddlers both in blue...
to a woman unhappy with her past...
to a humanitarian, her loving light she would cast...
to an angel, her life went oh so fast...
God bless you!

On behalf of my family, I offer our condolences to the family and friends of Princess Diana. Although our paths have never crossed, I feel our lives have crossed many times. She offered so much to so many people around this globe. She lived as so many could only dream of. She also stood for what so many could only aspire to. May her memory now become the catalyst this world needs to become more like her. God bless her soul.

I am so confused about my feelings. I miss her greatly and am so deeply saddened by this loss. I wish there were something I could do...

This loss will be felt by so many forever.

It's so sad.

To me, one of the greatest self-sacrificing tributes of which the British Monarchy could give the Princess is, the restoration of the title "Her Royal Highness". More so, since it is overwhelmingly evident the positive high regard and love accorded the Princess not only in the United Kingdom but throughout the entire world.

Our family are still struggling to come to terms with the death of this wonderful princess. She had the unique ability to bridge all gaps, and show true empathy for those she met.

We think a book should be published to celebrate her life and all the good things she managed to do in her few short years. All the proceeds could then go to her charities. It would also give everyone something tangible to remember her by.

I am still at the point where I am hoping this is just a nightmare, and I will wake up and find we still have Princess Diana.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you, William and Harry.

16 years ago I set my alarm for 4:00 am to watch your fairytale wedding. I watched with tired, happy eyes. 16 years later I read the reports of your untimely death on the Web. I then watched news reports after news reports through tired, sad eyes. I will set my alarm at 3:00 am this coming Saturday to watch your funeral.

Say it isn't so...

Why do the best die young? Maybe because the live intensively, give a lot during a short life span. Diana did more for more people in 30 yrs than others do during a long life. I will remember her foremost for what she did to others, not so much how she lived.

I thought it wasn't for real when I first got the news through the radio. But after I realised that it's not a joke to generate publicity or things like that, I was shocked beyond words. Her death came as a bolt of thunder. I mean, how on earth can this happened? At least not to someone who's so good. It's real unfair that she should leave us so fast.

Well, I've got to admit that I was not so aware of her charitable heart before her death which is a shame. It was only after her death did I realise that she holds a place in my heart and I could feel the void that she had left behind.

I'm very touched by her death. Never will she be replaced in my heart because she was unique.

I'll remember Princess Diana forever, always. May god bless her.

As many, I never met the Princess but when I heard the tragic news of her death on Sunday morning I was very distressed, primarily because she was such a beautiful and natural woman in her prime and full of life.

She did so much for the world with her natural outgoing kindness - she will be greatly missed by so many people. God bless her where she now rests in peace.

I am from Shanghai, China. When I heard this bad news. I really can't help myself, I love her ,the most beautiful ,greatest woman in the world ,she will live in my heart forever.
Diana was a person ,who left behind all the royal status to help those less fortunate than her. She achieved more than most. She will be sadly missed.
