Diana, with you gone there is an overwhelming sense that a force for good in this world has also been extinguished. We are sad for your death at a time when happiness seemed to be with you once more, we are truly sad for your children, their loss being so much more than anything that we can touch upon. We hope they can take some strength, some comfort from the expressions of concern and care that so many in the world express. Yes, Diana, you took the media stage, but you used it for others. You took the spotlight and ensured that it shone into areas that otherwise would have been ignored. I think of the many causes that could have benefited from your spotlight that will no longer have that benefit. Rest in peace, wherever that may be, and in time may happiness return to the hearts of William and Harry.

Your beauty will never fade, nor your memory.

RIP.

I have once studied in London and have had a wonderful time there. I always think what you have delivered to us with the rare quality is the courage to fight for what was right and that most of us in the world will benefit from it and you have done a great deal to this world. It is almost unbelievable for what had happened to you. I was very sad to lose you and was truly hoping you have found your happiness in the end.

Diana had the courage and convictions in life which so many of us would wish to have.

She gave comfort, strength, support and hope to so many with illnesses which other people spoke about in hushed tones - HIV, leprosy being only two which frightened so many.

Her love of all children, elderly folk and everyone she met during the course of her 'work'.

I, as so many others, admired, loved and respected her all through the years we were allowed to share her life.

God bless you, Diana. Be at peace now. We will never be able to forget you.

A flame had died in this dark world....But your light shall always be remembered. Thank you, Your Highness, Queen of all our hearts, for being what you were, what you are, and what you will always be to us all. A source of inspiration, strength, hope and dignity. May you rest in peace.

You didn't just touch my heart with all the kindness and love that you showered but also the hearts of millions of others. You truly were our 'Queen of Hearts'. I pray to God to give you all the happiness that you deserved here on Earth. Goodbye Diana. I'll always miss you.
Eternal Lady Diana

May all your past moments of happiness be multiplied by millions and be with you wherever you go, wherever you are. You will be loved and remembered by the world, by the people.

Rest in peace!

As a Chinese, I love Diana. I think she has won the respect of the whole world not only because she is a princess of the UK but also because what she has done is a bless to the human being. She is a great woman.

IN MEMORY OF A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, PRINCESS DIANA. May the love shown by Princess Diana shine on in her sons Prince William and Harry, and may they draw strength from her love of people, love of life and tremendous love for them and we all hope they can remind us of her with that captivating smile and good humour that she displayed even in the face of sadness. We will think of you, William and Harry with each passing day and wish you well.

I went last night to see the flowers. The people I saw were quiet and reflective. They were expressing their respects in a dignified and touching manner. Lets hope that the world’s media show the Royal Family the same level of respect. But that might just be wishful thinking. Prince William and Prince Harry, my thoughts are with you.
