Your ThoughtsNothing less than a full state funeral for this English Rose would be befitting. I hope that as heads of the Anglican faith, the Royals will forgive and forget all of the past animosity, after all she provided us with a legacy in her sons and everlasting memories for the whole world. Life has no room for continued animosity or envy. The whole world adored her and long may her memory 'reign' as the revered Princess of Hearts. We will watch attentatively at the way in which she is now treated. Philip Williams - Singapore It is with great shock and sorrow we absorb the untimely passing away of the queen of hearts. With fondest love Richard and Eveline Zenklusen, Powys, UK The world has lost one of the most special people! Diana was truly one of God's heavenly creations!! I don't think a single human being has EVER touched the world in the way that Diana touched the hearts of millions of people. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family and especially her children who will now grow up without the love of a wonderful mother. Never has the world been so devastated and Diana's memory will stay in our hearts forever. Claire Geary, South African Airways In a small village in the hills of Northern Italy my family and I were able to follow the BBC World News thanks to satellite TV. We watched all day on Sunday ever since my sister Patricia came up to awake me with this terrible news. We were in a daze. It was devastating. Your coverage was excellent and the fact that reports went on all day made me feel closer to England (where we used to live and where my sister and I grew up). This was extremely comforting. Thank you so much. In fact when I returned to my own house in the city where I do not have satellite, I felt extremely frustrated at the Italian news bulletins that were far too short and synthetic. I would also like to say that we are heartbroken for the boys (because, although they are princes, they are just boys) because Diana was like a warm breeze. She hugged and kissed them. She was openly loving. I can't imagine the Prince of Wales or anyone else of the family doing this. I hope I am wrong. PROVINI FAMILY - Piacenza, ITALY We are very sad in Japan too. The world lost great person. We never forget you. It has been a very sad few days. We will all feel like this for a long time. She will be remembered for all the joy she put in the world. Sydney, Australia To the free spirit of Diana I did not meet you but it looks like I knew you for along long time, and I do believe in something I already felt it before when I lost my father: only the good die young. MOHAMED EL-ROUMY EGYPT Without realizing it Diana had become a honourable and glowing role model for me. From the time I watched her wedding to her tragic and needless death - I have looked up to her. She was an intelligent, compassionate and beautiful person. There are very few female images in the media for whom I can attribute true respect - however, Diana was one of them - I will miss her strength. Jennifer Wilson, 27 years old, Vancouver, Canada She's such a wonderful person, very unique and charming. She is my inspiration to live to the fullest even though she's sad throughout her life but always put a happy smile. I adore her very much and I'll pray for her happiness in the next life..May God Bless You... Rozita, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia We were all saddened by the tragic death of Diana. Heidi, Norway On Sunday whilst out fishing we heard on the radio that Princess Diana had been injured in a car accident. We kept listening with great interest to the news flashes...then came the devastating news that the Princess had died from serious injuries received. In horror and disbelief we looked across at each other absolutely stunned. Returning home with a heavy cloud hanging over us we hugged each other and wept for Diana and her family. Even though we had never personally met Princess Diana it was as though we had lost someone very close and dear to us and there seemed to be a big void in our lives. It is strange...but true. Our love and sincerest condolences to all of the families who are suffering the loss of loved ones killed in the accident, most especially to Prince William and Prince Harry, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Her Royal Highness the Queen Mother, Prince Charles and other members of the Royal family, and the Spencer family. Another young life wasted. Rest in peace Diana. Helen and Colin Muir-Richardson and family, Perth, Western Australia Will you please send my condolences especially to Princes Willam and Harry. I feel we are all orphans now. She will always be in our hearts, you still here with us, Yousef H Al-azmi, KUWAIT Princess Diana is hardly one to make any interest on Asia but in spite of this we feel we too have lost someone dearly. Her works and pronouncements on issues as AIDS, lepers, underpriviledged, landmines and her concern for the depressed and poor built up an icon of her in our hearts. There to stay as a guiding light that someone sometime was with us. This is a deepest regret and condolence on a great loss of Princess Diana from Akhter in Karachi Pakistan. I wish her soul rest in peace. Akhter Zaman Khan In this saddened event I think people around the world should have an international holiday once in a year to remember the greatest princess to ever live in history, Princess Diana. But in people's hearts she will be remembered in every single day. She was so great and no one can replace her for sure for the humanitarian things she has done. I am so sad. Why does she have to go so early? F. Murray, New Zealand
