Your ThoughtsI felt a sense of loss when I heard the dreadful news as I was travelling back from a holiday on Sunday. I am sure this loss is felt by millions of people in the world like myself who had never met Diana. In her own special unique way she managed to stretch out to our hearts and touched us with her gentle manners, kind and generous heart and her warm sweet smile. Most importantly, Diana was instrumental in teaching us to reach out to those in need, the sick and the destitutes so that each one of us could do something to fight for the cause of these people. She was truly a noble person, a "Queen of People's Hearts" right from the start till the end. I share the grief of her family and especially of her two sons, Princes William and Harry and my thoughts and prayers are with them in these hours of sadness. It is such an irony that the peace Diana so craved for before is here at last. May God grant her eternal rest and peace in the heavens with the angels forever. The most precious gem in the world taken from us. Roger Patterson We at the KARAYOM GARMENT MFG., INC. (KGMI MANILA) were deeply shocked regarding the death of Princess Diana. We are sending our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and to the Spencer family. I cry now as I write this still in a state of utter disbelief. Never before has the world known a more beautiful person - in mind, body and soul. She has made the world a better place just by being here, we only wish that she could have stayed with us for longer. To Prince William and Prince Harry please try to remember in your time of sorrow and loss that never before have two young men had such a wonderful Guardian Angel, I am sure that she will always be watching over you. The Chitarra family, Perth, Western Australia Diana has touched my life as no one did. She showed the world that one can be a woman and a lady at all times. It was her strength, veracity, charm and zest for life that helped me through anorexia. She shall be missed. Diana will live forever in the heart, mind and soul for millions of women. Come what may, she fought back and lived. May God bless her and she find the peace and happiness she could not have. Good bye Diana, you will be missed. We are all sad about what we heard. Even we didn't know too much about her, but it doesn't matter. We really treat her as People's Princess. Philip yan, Shanghai, China The sudden and tragic death of Lady Diana Spencer was more than a shock to me, it was a total, devastating, catastrophic thing to happen to the world. I can't bear to imagine how can the Princes cope with the loss of their mother. I send my utmost condolence to the Princes and the British people and everyone in this world who adored and honoured Lady Diana Spencer. She'll always be in the people's hearts. Forever. May God bless her soul. We are very saddened with the news and wish to send condolences to Prince William & Prince Harry. Diana, you were truly the Queen of our hearts. We will all miss you and love you forever & ever!.. God bless you... Faiza & Nizam, Malacca, Malaysia SPECIALLY TO PRINCESS DIANA. May god bless you. I will miss you so much. For PRINCE WILLIAM and PRINCE HARRY, both of you should realise that your mother is the BEST WOMEN IN THE WORLD. JULIANA, JOHOR, MALAYSIA The incident shows us the uncertainity of life in the real sense. Even the next moment can never be predicted Darshita I have always thought that Diana was an example that all peolpe should look up to; especially the youth of today. She came from shy beginnings into a world of ceaseless attention. Her every move a front page story. She dealt with the pressures of being the Queen of the future King, until his own family turned their backs on her. She was strong willed, yet an amazingly caring person who seemed to understand the plight of the unfortunate. Many from the ranks of royalty and society gave little thought to these people, while Diana was prepared to risk her life. I have always had the greatest respect for Diana. I also thought she was an extremely attractive lady; a real fairy tale princess. I hoped one day I would meet her, unfortunately this won't be. I hope that her worked for the underpriviledged will continue as Diana would have hoped. It wouldn't hurt the British Royal family to set up a special trust fund to help sponsor this work either; after all to many of us "common" people she was the Royal of Royals; she was one of us!! I remember I wrote a poem or song about Diana and Charles when they were married, I was only 18 at the time and very taken by the beautiful Princess. I will find it and read back over it. My name is Phill Harding, I'm a teacher in Outback Australia in a town called Balranald and Diana touched my heart as she was able to touch so many throughout the world. I guess during my whole adult life I have known Diana, but now that part of my life is memories of a wonderful human being who will be sorely missed. Go in peace our angel And spread your wings to comfort those Who in life you touched Who in life loved you May your rest be peaceful and happy Farewell. I'm deeply sympathetic about Princess Diana's death. May God bless her and her boyfriend. Meanwhile, the attitude of the media should be greatly blamed. There should be privacy for all people including the public ones. There won't be such a tragedy if everyone understand this. Thomas Au, Hong Kong May you rest in peace, dear Diana. Here in Malaysia, we grieved over your death just as we were rejoicing our Independence Day celebrations (31 August 1997). How sad, to think that you had found love again and to die so young. Your sons will miss you terribly as we all will around the world. Our prayers are with you and Dodi and your driver and bodyguard. God Bless. Zuraidah, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia That a human being like Diana existed was itself proof that there is humanity left in the fast world today. She was so full of compassion, humility, kindness. She was my role model when I was in my early teens, she still is. My heart goes out to her two sons, may God give them strength to live on. May her soul rest in peace. Shilpa, Mumbai, India We are all really sorry for the death of Diana, and hope that the family will come to terms with the tragic news of her death. I hope Prince William and Prince Harry will always be well looked after by their father and have a great life ahead of them, like their mum would have wanted them too. I hope that her soul will rest in peace always. It was really sudden and tragic but I always hope people will remember her for all the things she did for people all around the world. Though I had never met her I will always remember her. Karishma Gandhi 13yrs, Singapore I can't quite understand why the world had to lose someone so wonderful and special. Everyone loved you and everyone is going to miss you. God bless you for making a difference Princess Diana. The world will not be the same without you. Margaret Halfnight, Sydney, Australia Diana. You took on such a difficult role when marrying Prince Charles and joining the Royal Family. You did it brilliantly against all the odds that were stacked against you. You were brave enough to show the world your humanity. You used all you had learned to help others and champion causes to better our world, our planet. The world is a better place for your brief but shining light. Thank you. Prince William and Prince Harry - She is part of you and will always be with you. Shona, Campbells Creek, Vic., Australia It's great loss to the world. She's one of the most respected women in the world. We here in HK mourn the loss of a person whom we all love and respect. Farewell to a world citizen. Y.L. Tse, Hong Kong I think that it is very wrong that Princess Diana was killed in such a way. To be pursued by paparzzi to such an extent is a breach of one's privacy. I still cannot overcome the shock of her death. My greatest wishes go out to the Royal Family and I hope that they will get over this dreadful obstacle and get on with their lives normally. I feel we will always grieve the death of the wonderful Princess but I do not think that her life has been a total waste. She has travelled the world, attending charities and helping the needy. I think we should all keep the courage of Diana in our hearts and carry on the work that she could not complete. Hilary Hayes, Australia May Princess Diana's soul rest in peace. We grieve immensely, together with the rest of the world, for the loss of a beautiful princess. Our sincere condolences to her family. Manjusha/Nagesh, Pune (India)
