Your Thoughts

We didn't realise how her death could have affected us so profoundly. She was such a humanitarian with genuine down to earth qualities who reached everyone, crossing all racial, religious and class barriers. Our thoughts and love go out to William, Harry and the Spencer family. The world unites in grief.

Shock is an inadequate word to describe how I feel. When I heard that Princess Diana had died I asked "Who Diana?". Because you associated the beautiful princess with life itself.

I am writing in concern of the tragic circumstances that the Princess was killed. Veronica and Andrew Boux from Dubai, U.A.E offer their condolences.
We,the staff of the first regional magazine ever to be published in Malaysia, The Asian Editor, would like to extend our deepest condolence to Princess Diana's two children. We hope that both of you will have the courage to go through this ordeal. May your mother rest in peace and may all her aspirations for both of you come true.
I was shocked to hear the news of her being passed away in such a tragic manner. All my family, friends and colleagues pray from the deepest part of our heart that the Almighty bless her soul and may she rest in peace. When a person gets rich, he/she tends to forget their past, but Princess Diana has done just the opposite, which was so unique and just so full of humanity which has touched us all so deeply.

I always loved Princess Diana and admired her for how much she did for the needy. Her death is a terrible loss to all of those whom she helped and everyone else who loved her. I, being a 15-yr-old Muslim, will do my part in praying that she goes to Heaven. All my condolences to her family and Prince William and Prince Harry. May God rest her soul in peace.

My heart goes out especially to William and Harry. No words can console them but I offer my sincere condolences regardless. Such a tragic loss.

We deeply regret this tragic loss. Diana will always be remembered as the great woman she was. Her strength and her compassion are unforgettable. We thank her for that. Our condolences and best wishes to her two sons. We'll never forget Lady Diana, Princess of Wales.

Diana Dead? Don't be ridiculous!
Death of The Princess? That's absurd!
Her spirit lives on in all of us,
Our hearts are full of her vibrant energy,
Every time you see a homeless person on the street,
It is her kindness that helps us reach into our pocket,
Every time we meet a distressed and lonely child,
It is her love that urges us to hold and comfort them,
Diana dead? Impossible!
I know because I have seen her,
You can too,
Put your hand on your heart,
Close your eyes,
Can you see her? The Angel of Love, The Queen of Hearts,
She's still with us and she still wears that warm and loving smile.

I could not imagine such a sad thing happened.
As most of people said, I was very fond of her
for years. Her loving character, appearance, actions...
Such an attractive, memorable person would never
be there for good I wonder.
Bless her forever.

Never have I been so saddened at the death of a public figure. I cried for Diana as if she were a friend - that is how so many of us saw her. When my boyfriend was dying of cancer, Diana wrote to me with words of comfort and love. The world will miss the Princess dearly. I am working in Japan and the sense of loss is overwhelming amongst this nation. My heart goes out to the two Princes who have lost such a devoted mother. God Bless you Diana - may you be left in peace at last. Beth McMullen, South Wales/Japan
Princess Diana was an inspiration to us all. I am fortunate to have met her once. She showed such compassion for people all over the world and helped make it a better place. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten. Princess Diana worked hard to rid the world of anti-personnel landmines. It would, in my opinion, be a fitting mark of respect to have an international ban on landmines. My family's sincerest condolences go to the young Princes William and Harry, who have tragically lost their mother.

The Living Princess in our hearts - May You Rest In Peace. She was sincere and kind hearted

Diana's death is a great loss to the world. However, the greatest loss would be the loss of perspective which caused her death. Just because it appears the driver's alcohol level was over the limit, should not take away from all contributing factors such as the alleged role the paperazzi played in her demise. Thoughts should now go to her sons and in their time of grief, our prayers. New Laws should be made to protect celebrities from the paperazzi so this tragedy is never repeated Rest is peace, Diana, you will be surely missed.
Tragic accident, totally shocked - She'll be greatly missed.
