Angel

Trivia

You Only Live Twice: Angel's sire, the delicious Darla, returns to the show, only to be dusted at the climax.

Joss Whedon didn't let a little thing like death keep her down, however, and resurrected the character in the closing moments of To Shanshu in L.A. - the season one finale of Buffy's spin-off series, Angel.

Making Up Angel: David Boreanaz spends between an hour and ninety minutes in the make up chair to be transformed into a vampire.

Because of the powerful glues used to attach his vamp forehead, it takes almost as long each evening to carefully remove all the rubber without damaging David's skin.

Scream 2: When Angel hears Joyce scream, it's actually the sound of Buffy's scream taken from earlier in the episode, sneakily reused.

It's a First: Angel is the first episode that reveals Buffy's address to be 1630 Revello Drive. It's also the first to announce that the Anointed One's real name is Colin. Suddenly, knowing that, he doesn't seem quite so scary.

Fashion Victims: "What's with the Catholic schoolgirl look? Last time I saw you it was kimonos." Angel's throwaway line about Darla's fashion sense gets followed up four years later in the Angel episode Darla. In a flashback to the Chinese Boxer Rebellion, Darla indeed sports a kimono.

Oops!: In the best tradition of old Western movies, Darla seems to have a limitless supply of bullets in the final shoot out - despite never reloading her guns.

Music: The track I'll Remember You by Sophie Zelmani plays over the final scene of Buffy and Angel kissing at the Bronze.
