Trivia

Doggy goodness: Faiths line "All your little lame-ass friends are going to be kibbles 'n' bits" refers to an American brand of dog food.

Waiting for Godot: In a rare cultural reference that dates back further than the '60s, Buffys line "The girl [Faith] makes Godot look punctual" is a nod to a famous play by Irish author Samuel Beckett, En attendant Godot (Waiting For Godot), published in 1952. Becketts surreal experimental play features two people, Vladimir and Estragon, who conclude that because they exist where they are, they must be waiting for someone; someone they name Godot. Their endless patience is in vain, however, as the continually elusive Godot never appears.

New Barnet: Oz, who has barely anything to do in this episode, has obviously had time to dye his hair blond since Dopplegängland, possibly emulating the Scott Evil character in "Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me"

Mini games: Miniature Golf, (the activity the Mayor suggests to cheer Faith up), also featured in the second season episode Ted.
