Trivia

RILEY, YOU BIG LUG

A small shrine to the dumbest man on TV. This week:

Can he work out what's up with Oz and Willow? Er, no.

Can he deal with Oz being a werewolf? Er, no.

Can he handle Willow dating a werewolf? Er, no.

Well, can he explain himself without annoying Buffy? Or will he say something daft about nice girls dating dangerous guys? Well, what do you think?

"I've been up less than a minute and somehow I've managed to piss you off." Buffy and Riley start rowing during his morning press ups.

Riley nearly kills Oz. How much trouble would he have been in?

Riley's attempt to rescue Oz is pretty dumb. And it wrecks his military career. How much covert ops training has this man had?

"I can never come back. I just wanted to hear that out loud." Riley likes to think through important life moments.

"I'm an anarchist." Oh dear.

"You can tell me anything." Riley thinks that he can handle finding out about Buffy's past. Yeah, right.

Oz is back: He left at the end of Wild at Heart because he betrayed Willow and lost control of his inner werewolf. But appears to be rather bitter.

Willow and Tara: This week we finally find out that they are a couple, but it is agonising to watch. Especially Buffy trying to be cool about it. One thing you'll notice, though - you won't see them kiss. But there's an awful lot of symbolism.

Adam and Spike: Adam confronts Spike in his cellar during the daytime. There's lots of sunlight around, yet Spike seems strangely unaffected by it.

Oz's werewolf costume: It's got a little better. He's also been working out a bit.

The Initiative: Riley's team bag and remove Oz without much concern for what other people think.

Riley's jail cell: Not only is it groovy and hexagonal, it also has a stainless steel urinal.

Tattoo: The initiative's new boss has a big, shiny tattoo. And he's a bit tubby.

Adam's rescue: Why does Adam help them rescue Oz, exactly?

Adam: We learn that he used to be a boy scout. Bless. Or, actually, eeeew!

Willow: When she's old and blue-haired, we learn she wants to be in Istanbul (not Constantinople?).

Kid-A: Oz swapped his Radiohead album for Willow's gift from Tibet. 'My werewolf went to Tibet and all he brought me was...'
