Trivia

RILEY, YOU BIG LUG

A small shrine to the dumbest man on TV. This week:

Our hero just isn't the (super)man Angel used to be and he feels inadequate. Punching big chunks out of cave walls isn't the way to go though. That way leads to sore knuckles.

He's also got to learn the way to a girl's heart isn't to jump out her from behind the door like Kato in the Pink Panther films...

Graham sees that Riley needs to get out of the rut he's in too. "You used to have a mission," he notes. "And now you're what? The mission's boyfriend?"

Familiar faces: When Riley's heart rate rises, it's up to old Initiative buddy Graham to make sure the big lug gets treated. Harmony's back too, and smoking like a true villain - but not if she sees a No Smoking sign first. We also get to meat a hunky hospital intern named Ben. Bet that won't be the last we see of him...

Has it Dawned on you yet?: First of all, a madman spotted something wasn't quite right with Dawn. Now Joyce realises Summers Jr. is out of place. What could it all mean?

Magic Ingredients: Although you'll never spot them on camera, all the jars behind the counter at the Magic Box contain ingredients named after the cast and crew. Delights such as Boreanaz Beads, Charisma Charms and Tony's Heads can all be found there.

Slay Room: Now that Giles has taken over the Magic Box, he's built a new slayer training room for Buffy out back. It has a punch bag, vaulting horse and an exercise bike. Mysterious symbols are painted on the walls. Xander helped by making the straw dummy target.

Oh, Pacey! You blind idiot: Spike has become something of a couch potato since he got chipped. Not only does he watch surreal daytime soap Passions in his crypt, it seems from this episode that he follows teen drama Dawson's Creek to. If he can get the WB on his TV though, what does he watch on Tuesdays at 8pm we wonder?

Music: Riley plays basketball to the sound of Breathe by Nickelback. It's from their album The State.
