Scott Thomas sisters: Serena Scott Thomas (Gwendolyn Post) played Princess Diana in a controversial 1993 TV movie based on Andrew Morton�s book Diana: Her True Story. Serena is the sister of The English Patient star Kristin Scott Thomas.

The magical nanny: Faith�s line "Excuse me, Mary Poppins, you don't seem to be listening" refers to a prim and proper English nanny who had magical powers, created by Pamela L. Travers in her 1934 novel Mary Poppins. Travers wrote a series of books involving the character, but most people will know Poppins from Disney�s Oscar winning 1964 film adaptation, which starred Julie Andrews.
