Trivia

RILEY, YOU BIG LUG

According to his bosses, Riley "thinks too much". Ha ha ha.

He's really jealous about Angel. Especially about the fact that Buffy slept with him.

Riley wears some of Xander's silly clothes. It's kind of sweet.

He eats cold food from tins. It looks like corned beef.

Yay! We finally get to see Angel vs Riley. He's so convinced Buffy's slept with Angel again he picks a fight with Angel. Silly boy. Then he sulks. Still - he does call Angel "Mr Billowy Coat King of Pain". Which is cute.

He tells Buffy "I'm so in love with you I can't think straight." He can't think, period.

Evil Riley?!?! Stunning ending - Is Riley in league with Adam? Blimey. Has it all been a cunning double bluff? Has he fooled us all along? That hardly bears thinking about.

Angel: This episode follows on from an episode of Angel where Buffy turns up in LA, keen to help hunt down Faith. Buffy and Angel argue, she stomps off in a huff, and Angel goes after her. Hence him turning up here.

Adam: Here referred to as "The Prototype". Apparently morale is low among the Initiative soldiers because the prototype escaped. Perhaps this has something to do with them realising that this is what they would become.

Tony Robbins: He's an American motivational speaker, who isn't as good as Adam, according to Spike.

Riley and Xander: Look at them bond in this episode. Riley's still hiding out in the school - could this be saving money by re-using the set from Doomed?

Giles sings: If you're interested, he sings Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. He last sang in Where the Wild Things Are. He will sing again... Notice his increased drinking of alcohol through this season finally reaches a head (he used to just drink tea).

Miss Kittyfantastico: It's the name of Tara's pussy. They talked about getting one earlier in the season.

Willow grows old: This week, it's with Buffy. Last week we heard how she wanted to meet up with Oz in Asia. This week, she's fantasising about rooming in an old folks home.

Forrest dies: He's not the first Buffy semi-regular to die - that honour goes to Jenny Calendar.

The Yoko Factor: Yoko Ono married John Lennon, and was blamed for splitting up the Beatles.

Xander calls Giles "Alfred" after Batman's butler. He goes on to talk about Fort Dix - a real American military fort.
